I set up Dora&Deb (with the help of Dora, my late doggie soulmate) in 2020 with the aim of creating affordable, design-led occasion stationery and invitations that help you to communicate simply, stylishly, and, most importantly, meaningfully.
I absolutely adore being a part of people’s special occasions, and treat every single save the date, wedding invitation and announcement with the care and consideration that I would if it was my own or a member of my family’s. I want you to be delighted with your custom cards!
About Me
I trained in Graphic Design & Illustration at Central St Martins college of art in London and, before Dora&Deb, spent over 15 years working as a graphic designer and illustrator. Throughout the years I’ve created websites, illustrated magazine articles and covers, and licensed artwork for print, textiles, and product worldwide. I now live in Birmingham with my family, and work from my garden studio, accompanied by two new doggie assistants: Lotte and Fred.

The design process
Tailored to Fit
The design process starts by checking all the information you provide, opening up the base design, and modifying as needed to suit your own wording and preferences. I send you a digital proof to look over and check—up to 3 design revisions are included as standard—and if you want to change something to make your cards even better, you can.
Once approved, I double-check the design, ensuring there are no typos, and that the design as a whole is looking balanced and working well before I start printing or send you the files. For my ‘Printed’ clients, the printing and finishing process takes around 2 weeks. Once everything has been checked over fully, I package everything up and send on to you.
The entire process of design and printing usually takes around 2-4 weeks in total, but every process is individual—I always advise leaving as much time as possible—but in any case, I will be there to keep you updated along the way. Got questions or queries? Reach out. I’m here.
Caring for our environment
Design Only Options for Internationally Local Printing
I believe we should care deeply for the planet and don’t like the idea of shipping printed goods Internationally when there are talented printers everywhere in the world.
That’s why I don’t ship Internationally. I DO offer design only on request, and if you need help with finding a local printer to print your files, I’m there for you too. What you get from me is beautifully designed invitations—the beautiful printing can happen locally with the beautiful local paper of your choice. Think of the air miles (and the customs charges) you’ll save!

Plants a Tree Where Reforestation is Needed
I’ve partnered with TreeNation to ensure that more gets put into the environment than is taken out during the production of our invitations and cards.
Every order (excluding sample packs) plants a tree or two in an area where reforestation is really needed.
That includes Design Only, to offset your own paper use.
